I'm dating someone who rings my cell phone nite and day demanding I drop everything and come to his house so he can have his way when I decline he tries to make me feel like i'm not a good friend. He want as far as saying that when he calls demanding I should take heed.
Personnaly I think that it's to much control for one man to have over any women, so he got dump real quick

Was I wrong for dumpping him and turning off my cell?

I feel like this is a preview of an abusive person.

Nope your were right honey!! You should always follow your first mind anyway when it comes to those type of situations. It does seem like he has some underlying issues going on, I'm glad that you got out of that situation immediately becuase it could have gotten worse. Also watch out for yourself and be careful. Also let me just add a "bravo" you deserve it, I wish more women could do the same!!!

STAY AWAY from that Creep. Someone that Controlling will end up hurting you. That sounds like the start of an Abusive relationship if I've ever heard one. NO MATTER what he says do not take him back he's NEVER gonna change even if he does for a little while it would only be a matter of time before he went right back to his old ways.

Not just no. HELLLLL NAW! No one shoould let themselves be treated like that. Someone trying to guilt you into things you don't want to do? Forget it. There's waaaaaay too many fish in the sea. That person is not your friend at all. Don't feel guilty for sticking up for yourself. You did good.

did ya ever see the movie, "sleeping with the enemy"?...I had to change my cell phone number for a very similar reason. I think you are correct in getting away from him...

You were right. He was being really controling and that might not have been the end- that can't have been a good situation for you.

You were absolutely right and congratulations. You tried talking to him and he became threatening. Definitely not worth your time. I wish more women would heed those kinds of warnings.

don't feel bad, you should probably consider a restraining order...or at the very least tell your family, friends, and employer about what is going on, in case you wind up missing or worse.

I think you did the right thing...That guy sounded crazy.

I really feel that if you would have stayed in that situation it could have ended very VERY badly!
