Contrary to public opinion, most guys (except the real hard-ons) aren't very forward in asking ladies out. From your question I'm going to assume you're probably younger (Junior High, High School?) Most younger guys are as afraid of rejection as you are, asking a girl out for the first time is as about as intimidating as stepping into the ring with Muhammad Ali.
It may not be the conventional approach, but you'd be surprised how many nice guys are just waiting for YOU to ask THEM out. Girls mature much faster than guys do, and a really solid self-confidence is something guys (at least it was in my case) don't get until somewhere around 19-21 years of age... Believe it.
I know it sounds cliche, but trust me... Be yourself, and just go up to a guy and say hello. Be nice, straightforward, and whatever you do don't play games. Guys hate that crap. Good luck. Cheers!

how old are you? if you are under 15, chill. In High School? Join a club or try out for a team. Get involved in a group effort and meet people with the same ideas as you. The feeling will develop.
And PS. Ask a guy out yourself!!

Stop expecting things to just fall in your lap like that. Get some confidence and if you like a guy flirt a little and suggest seeing them again. This is really not the time to rely on someone else to get you what you want. Go out and take it.

Well why don't you ask someone you have feelings for. It's better if you ask someone you like so he can know that you like him or just ask someone out that you know. Believe me guys have allot of trouble asking out girls too. I'm sure a guy is just around the corner waiting to ask you out.

Why is that?? Being a female, all guy's would want to ask you out. Is there something about you that keeps guy's away, such as a bad reputation, problem with your hygiene etc... Do you want to go out with me?

lucky you. i dont want a guy for that (ive got one for a best friend). i ignore all of the ones at my school (im a freshman) and i keep getting hit on be seniors! its waaaaaay too creepy.

i know how you feel. i feel like i am old enough and mature enough but not a single guy even looks at me in that way. well maybe one guy has been recently but I'm not so sure about him.
