I picked up the rental van and was driving it home to load up my stuff to move to our new house. Our lease was up the next day, and we had to get to the new place (about 4 hours away) ASAP. I was driving onto the turnpike, and went into the toll booth area, and the truck just died. Completely. Wouldnt move, wouldnt restart, etc. The lady in the tollbooth was yelling at me to move it. I had to call the rental company, and they said they would be out, but at the same time, the Department of Transportation wanted me to stop blocking their tollbooth, so they sent a tow truck. Anyway, it was a race to get to the truck, and the DOT won, and they hauled the thing off. Then the rental truck company (UHaul) told me that they didnt have any other trucks available. Man was I pissed. They ended up getting me one late at night, and I ended up leaving on the 4 hour drive at 2AM. No fun at all.

Well, I have a great one for ya! We sold our house about a month ago and the people couldn't get a loan so they had to do all these things and finally got one. Then last week the appraiser said our house wasn't worth what they bought it for. Then today we got the call saying they're backing out and not buying the house. Today, we got a call from the landlord of the house we were planning on renting and she said that someone is buying the house we were going to rent so for awhile there we didn't have a home. Luckily, the people can't afford the house so now we don't have to move. Oh, and we've already moved all our stuff over to the house we were going to rent and its 113 degrees outside and we have to move it all back tonite.

We rented a U-Haul to take our belongings. The drive should have taken 3-4 hours. After 5 miles on the highway, the U-Haul broke down! We waited over 5 hours for a tow-truck. It was such an awful experience!
