Babies at age 3 months should be taking in no more than 6-8 ounces at a time, spaced several hours apart. However, not all babies are the same. Some want less at a time, but want to eat more frequently. Some want more at a time and will eat less frequently. If your child eats 8 ounces, and still wants more, make sure to burp him/her first, and then wait a bit. If after 30 minutes, s/he is still crying for more, try giving him/her a bit of water in a bottle.
If s/he is pushing the bottle away, or turning from it, then s/he is done eating, and doesn't want more.

at three months, any mother knows that just milk is going to go straight through the baby and they get hungry quicker and do not seem satisfied. Two or three tablespoons of baby cereal will help. may have to make the nipple on the bottle with 2-3 extra holes or a barely slightly larger hole for the cereal to go through better.

You cannot over-feed an infant.
Don't worry, you're not making a "fat-kid".
(FAT-KIDS develop when fed "unhealthly" foods. Kids don't get fat on fruits, veggies, etc.)
Your baby will stop when he/she is full.
Try adding some Gerbers Dry Cereal (oatmeal or rice), to the bottle, then shake it up. Warm it up a bit (microwave)... then shake it good for an even temperature. Use bottle nipples that open bigger to allow for cereal to pass out. Works great! Every baby is different. Go slow. Watch their comfort level. Watch when they poop. With strain or with ease?

no human ...no matter how small should consume more food than is equal to the size of that person's fist....the human stomach is about the size of that particular persons fist unless of course over the years they have overeaten to the point that they've stretched their stomach beyond that point.....but as a rule you should (any person should) only eat a portion of food equal to the size of that person's fist....

If you are unsure you should ask your doctor. Every infant is different and requires a different amount.
