Nothing wrong with it. I'm sure that they have already thought it through, and would not appreciate your advice, which would come across as a judgement of their relationship.

I dont believe you even know what a 3rd cousin is. Most people dont even know who their second cousins are. To be a 3rd cousin to someone, that means you both have a 2nd great grandparent in common. In most cases, our 2nd great grandparents were people born 100 years before we were born. The law in most states says you CANT marry a first cousin, but a 2nd cousin or further back is fine.

1. Learn to mind your own d--- business about other people's relationships.

2. The incest tatoo is appliable only in very small tribes because of the danger of repeated close-cousin marriages. Once in a while pairings of this type poses no danger of any great consequence UNLESS there is a known inheritable medical condition of some type known present.

3. Read point one. People like you ought be taken out and shot.

The reason why blood related family members shouldn't marry is because of genetic disorders or diseases that may occur in offspring, aside to being gross, right! But they're distant cousins that share only the same family but not the same blood..so If they're in love why not. Its almost like marrying your best friend...you may have grown up together and have family outings but it doesn't make it wrong if you grow to love and marry your best friend. So support your friend and wish him the best.

You need to keep your nose outta it. Nothing wrong with 3rd cousins marrying, especially those that aren't related by blood but by adoption.

If you're 3rd cousins I think that you can legally marry- but if they're related only by adoption then what is the issue?

I dont trust incest no matter how far down the line it is. Kids come out with 2 heads, 3 arms, and four legs, you know why. No, its not ok. Since they are family, both of them are suppose to be in the wedding but not marrying each other.

I think even blood 3rd cousin is legal, but if they aren't blood related then there should be no issue at all...if they love one another, support their decision...

Personally, I would look on it like you are...but even if they were blood related, for all legal reasons 3rd cousins are okay.

how is it your place to tell them to find somebody else? i think that if they feel okay about it, then leave them alone. it would not be something that i would choose to do myself, but i'm certainly not one to judge somebody for it, and neither are you. if they can legally obtain a marriage liscense....what else is there? think of it this way...they'll save money on invitations because they have the same family, lol.

When your family adopts someone they automatically become you're family. They basically family by adoption. It's not nasty but it's not right. My choice would be to let him know before they or they're family get's hurt.Have his back
