I'm not surprised some here specifically ask for Christians only to read! We just happen not to want a point of view from disrespectful jerks or non-believers! Can you blame us for that- to want to protect our religion and wanting only real answers? What's wrong with wanting that? It seems like destructive people are more free than Christians! That's a bit wrong... I just think it's sad that we can't respect each other or at least argue in a mature and rational way. The day that we accept and respect each other will be a miraculous one- yes, MIRACULOUS. Sorry to say to the non-believers, but that's simply what it'll be. So, for those who are completely against God and such, why not just avoid it if you despise it so much? Why continue being involved in it if it's something that revolts you or whatever? Please... and thank you for reading and only respectful answers for once, or people who agree with my words! Thank you!

Just wanted to add: I don't mind Muslims or people of a different religion than me; even if I don't agree with everything, don't you think bashing their religion is just ridiculously stupid and useless?

How can people say I think others will go to Hell just for this or that? Or, that as Christian, I'm not rational or anything like that??? I'm all about expressing my anger for other persons not to respect and then you accuse me of disrespect? What's going on?!

I agree, but a lot of the times people are just reacting to the way Christians act. I have seen it both ways. A lot of Christians disrespect people and think that they are possessed with demons and need to be 'saved.' I hope that everyone comes to know Jesus as I do, but the judging from both sides is unbelievable.

Adrian: Not to be rude, but I don't think the Bible says that, and even if it does I don't think that is God's true message. Sorry that someones interpretation was so wrong. Just an opinion, again, not meaning to be rude.

First you automatically separate religions when you request only christians to read your questions & second its just silly. Who is to say a christian could help you out any more than an atheist. I can understand if it is a religious question, but anything else should be fair game.

The problem with this whole question is that you ask when we can accept & respect each other, but that can't happen. According to christian religion that would be heaven so obviously we cant start doing that on earth yet. Ha ha see how I segued into my natural desposition for christians?

if you're not from now on speaking about persons, then what the heck do you propose by technique of "will atheism ever comprehend"? Atheism isn't a company, corporation, philosophy, or ideology. All it potential isn't believing any gods exist. Nevermind that faith isn't and under no circumstances will be a unmarried unified crew.

The cry of blasphemy is a great way to gag people and stop them from exposing phoney gods for what they really are.
Blasphemy is just a gag and where that doesn't wash the cry of respect is being used in it's place... but it's impossible to respect much of the nonsense religions espouse and they should not expect to receive respect..let them earn respect like everyone else has to.

I think it is the part where your religion condemns everyone else to eternal damnation and the suffering of hell. When you believe that you should not bash anyone else because yours is the ultimate disrespect of others.

-Why can't people ever respect each other's religion???-

i didnt bother to read the rest, because im sure its just complaining.

people (christians) dont respect others religions because the bible tells them not to. the bible says that other gods are false, and the people that worship them are sinners and blasphemers and that christians must try to change them and rebuke them.

Because it dates back to the days when people were killed for witchcraft..killed because they were not blonde haired-blue eyed people..killed because they were indians etc. People dont like anything that is different from what they were raised to believe. They are supposed to learn tolerance but there is a limit to tolerance.

to me this soulds like "why cant people ever respect people's Nazism? the problem is that religion tends to make a mess out of everything for everyone EXCEPT those who beleive in it. (just like nazism) so basiclaly we cant just let people believe what they want.

wed be allowing perpetual stupidity reign.
