Did you buy your cat from a breeder? If not, you have a mixed breed cat. Full bred cats are pretty rare unless obtained from a breeder or breed rescue agency. Many people will match coloring or pictures of cat breeds and assume their cat must be that breed. Cats are called domestic long hairs, DLH, if it has long hair or domestic short hairs, DSH, if it has short hair. You can do a search for cat breed pictures on the internet.

Go alphabetically through the list of cat breeds/pictures and pick the one that best matches your cat.
