I suppose there really wouldn't be any stories about sick people except perhaps in the old testament if Jesus had done away with illnesses during his tenure.
You have to have lots of bad things available to happen in order to have religion. That way religious screwballs can garner control.

You are avoiding the real issue. Jesus did what He did in order to reach those He could touch. He knew the impact it would send out for future generations. We can relate to different healing stories for different reasons. Would it be the same if He had just set out a blanket healing?

No, because our society finds that believing in a book written several hundreds of years after the events depicted, translated from language to language to language and edited by a slef-concerned monarch is the wisest possible choice one could make.

Heh, no, I think if he had done away with illness then those types of people would somehow have attributed it to man's accomplishment, man's triumph over illness, and refuted that divinity had anything to do with it.

they would not have known about the illness nor the healings so what would they write about? i milked the cow washed the cloths cooked the food and went for a walk.

God has by no skill had a plan for human beings, different than that they be happy, and love God. God placed us right here, and gave us each and every thing we could desire to make this international paintings. that is not Gods fault that we shop screwing issues up. sure, there is desire that there could be Peace on earth.
