Yes. Especially if they have a binding pre-nuptial agreement. The fur lining is a nice touch, particularly if it was beaver fur. Mr. X&Y would like that. I would like to say more but my hands are tied. That was an off the cuff remark. That was bound to come up. After the wedding, perhaps you could take the young couple aside, give them a few words of advice, and show them the ropes.

It's an appropriate bachelorrette party gift...but not for a wedding! Give them something from their bridal registry or money.
The handcuffs are more of a gag gift and not appropriate as a serious wedding gift!

Sorry,
that's an inappropriate gift.
Why not money--that's really useful.
Fur-lined handcuffs is more appropriate for them to give to each other.

if they have a good sense of humor then yes. my husband and I are very open about our sexual ralationship and i got something sexy to wear as a wedding gift. maybe get them that and like a book like the kauma sutra or however you spell it. great gift!
um...for whoever said it, most people dont open their gifts till after the wedding. nobody would see it but them. and not everyone has a shower. i didnt i think they are the most tacky things ever! give it as a gift if you want to. im sure they will get enough toasters and dishes as it is. it would be nice to get soemthing different for themselves.

It would be appropriate if and only if you know that anyone present at the opening of the gifts (obviously including the bride and groom) would not take offence. The risque factor associated with them should help in making that judgment call.
I've heard of the bonds of matrimony, but this is ridiculous. :-)

Where were you when I got married because I would have loved that gift. The fur lined ones don't scratch my bed posts!

no ...thats more of a shower gift. Wedding gifts are practical and something that the couple will use in their future.

So long as they aren't used.
New cuffs would be très cool...and the fur just adds a touch of class.

It depends on who the bride and groom are. If they're prudish, probably not. If they have wild streaks, it sounds like a cute, "useful" gift.
