Why would an all-powerful god become flesh in order to sacrifice himself to himself so that his creation might escape the wrath of himself. Couldn't god, in his infinite wisdom, come up with something a little more efficient?

Jesus was/is not Almighty God. He was God's first creation and all other things was created by God through him. At the start of things Jesus was called "the Word". (Col. 1:15 "He is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation.") John 17:5 says "Father, glorify me alongside yourself with the glory that I had alongside you BEFORE the world was." See John 8:58. All other things were created THROUGH him. (Col. 1:16, 17) He was A god, but not Almighty God. (John 14:28 & Phil.2:5-8) He was a perfect man when he became human and it took a perfect man to ransom us from the sins of once-perfect Adam who sinned. John 1:29 & 1 Tim. 2:5,6. John 1:1, 2 says "In the beginning the Word was, and the Word was WITH god and the Word was A god. This one was in the beginning with God."

Some church teaching or some well meaning person has you confused. God and Jesus are not the same person. Read your Bible and really study and meditate on what you learn. God is loving and kind and Jesus is the first being he created in heaven. Jesus was the master worker in assisting God in creating all other things in heaven and on earth including angels and men. The sacrifice had to be equal to what was lost because God is perfectly just. Since all men inherited sin from Adam and Eve, God transferred the life of Jesus from heaven into the body of Eve so that a perfect man could again be born so that the sacrifice could be equal.

Someone perfect (Jesus) was the only way all of us imperfect people could be saved, first of all, second: it takes faith to believe that this is all true, and that is probably why God chose something that people would question, if it were easy, it wouldn't take very much faith to believe it. third: who are we to question anything an all powerful God does, whether we think he could have come up with a better way or not, and fourth: Jesus became flesh however, he was 100% man and 100% God and therefore, he could still enter into heaven.

The only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ--not God. Jesus Christ is the Son of God and He came to this earth to die for you and wash away the sins of man. God didn't not die, He sacrificed His Son for you.

1. God's Son was known as Jesus
2. Flesh doesn't enter heaven, only your spirit does.
3. God was never Jesus, Jesus was God's Son.
4. Jesus DOES exist and He died for you because He loves you.

John 3:16

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Because we existed as spirits before we were born. God wanted us to learn and grow, and we could only go so far without bodies. We needed to experience things like pleasure, and pain, and how to control a body to overcome weaknesses. Thus he needed to create a plan that would allow us to experience these things. He couldn't create an imperfect thing, so he created innocent Adam and Eve, but provided a way for them to be able learn, by partaking of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Then humanity became fallen, and needed to be redeemed. In and of ourselves we couldn't become clean to return to Heavenly Father. That is why God sent His Son, Jesus Christ. BEing the Son of God, he was able to live a sinless life and provide the perfect Atonement for mankind. Thus when we get to the Judgement, God will say You did this and this and this. You can't return. Jesus will say, "Father, I paid the price for him. Let him enter."

It's a faith factor. Jesus and God were to separate beings that were one. And to do something the right way you can't do it the easy way so no he couldn't do it a more efficient way and for someone who seems to be an atheist you seem to know a lot about the Bible. I'm just saying. Jesus Loves and Adores. John 3:16 and 1John 3:16.

The Almighty God created Jesus as the first of his creations
Colossians first chaper tells about this by means of him all other things were created. The other spirit persons, the universe and the earth.
Adam was a perfect man when he sinned all his children inherited that sin. It took a perfect man to buy back for us what Adam lost. Jesus as god's Son willingly gave his life to buy us back. He is our adopted father. Ransomed us from sin and death. then he took back the value of his perfect life.
Rev 21 says the he is in heaven sitting at the right hand of God.

First of all God isn't send Jesus to say use form himself. He sent him to save us from Satan. God and Jesus are part of a Trinity that consists of God the father, God the son (Jesus) and God the Spirit (holy ghost). They7 are three separate being but one and the same. It's hard to understand or comprehend. God could have made it that we have no other option but to live out our days being his servants and worshiping him but he decided to give us a choice. to believe in him or not to beleive.

You need to understand that Jesus is not GOd the father. Your problem is that you dont know or believe in the divine trinity that there is God - the father, Jesus - the son, and the Holy Spirit. God is all powerful, but he gave man freewill. he doesnt force with all his power that man be with him. It is he choose God which you must because God is good, loving and the only true one or fall and choose the devil who despises man and only seeks to deceive and destroy him and bring destruction and eternal sorrow to men who choose him where the fallen and rebels against God shall all be tortured in the lake of fire forever.

Adam sinned and caused the fall of man by his own choice, because he was deceived by Satan but it was ultimately his choice. He sinned and man became a slave to sin and was doomed lest he follow God. So God had to make a way for man's redemption - the ONLY way - which was that he send his only begotten son Jesus Christ to this earth in flesh that he may save men and die on the cross and shed his blood so our sins can be washed away with the blood of Jesus so we can be redeemed of our sins and be made perfect again with his blood and repententing from our sins and following God with the Holy Spirit in our lives . He was resurrected by God to defeat death for us so we can have eternal life. and that was the only way. eternal life by which the men who die saved excepting jesus before the rapture will taste death, but not be surely dead, but be safe with God in heaven and in the second advent of Christ in his millenial reign get resurrected like Jesus in new eternal perfect bodies and live forever with God on new earth. That was the only way for God to save us from our sins was to send his son Jesus to die for our sins and be resurrected.

It's good that you asked that question, because hopefully you will be save in the name of Jesus amen. Because why would you ask that question. Were you just curious or trying to challenge God or something. I guess you're spirit cries and thirsts for God but you allow your flesh to dictate your life more. The flesh is bad because it will perish but your spirit( the seat of intellect) and soul ( the seat of emotions, passions, and other things) will last forever and you want to be in heaven when you die not the other place and live forever. The best thing to do is to follow your spirit, because the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. Go after God and except Jesus as your savior and in thus doing have eternal life. Some people are spiritually dead and hopefully await to be awakened by having Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit in them.

If anything at least your God conscious, but don't deny God and pray that the wall Satan has set up against God be taken down so you may accept God and make sure you are delivered from evil and not be under the influence of Satan.

Usually with people who are not saved, they are really bothered by Satan because they're oppressing themselves and what work is there for the devil to do, his job is basically done if the person refuses God, but if you are saved you'll notice more demonic pwer and perhaps see some evil spirits, because Satan will try even harder to take you down.

But ultimately it's your choice.
