For example, we would need to hire Americans to transport, to process, to care for the illegals while detained here. Then there would be companies hired to build buses for transportation. Human services to provide for the illegals while they are being detained....
This would benefit the companies who build buses, tire companies, food services, actually...would put our money back into the workings of our society to benefit our people while deporting those who do not belong here.
We would initially use monies sent to Mexico for this. Simply cut off all their aid...I don't know how much that is...I read it was somewhere around 80 billion dollars a year. Also use monies from those fined for hiring illegals...combined, that's a lot of pesos! We'd have enough left over to build a fantastic fence!
Perhaps we could make deportation a profitable business...it's the American way...to turn lemons into lemonade!

In response to some comments, most Americans wash their own dishes and do their own yard work. For a long time most of the fruit I buy actually comes from Costa Rico....and a lot of fruit and vegetables come from South America, all imported.
We have a garden, we work in it. The argument that illegals do what Americans won't is a crock. We're not buying that anymore, so you need to come up with something "real".

Avoiding the fact that I completely disagree with the whole idea of a mass deportation and the logic of "giving American jobs back", the jobs that supposedly would be created as described above are merely temporary. What happens when the majority of illegals are out? The need for all the buses, services, and all that other stuff will be negated leaving us with an unemployment rate right where we started. Some unemployment is ideal (~4% - 6%). This means that people have the ability to leave their current job to find a new one. Zero % would imply that you would have to work your current job forever.

Well, during the time I was in California I held a few jobs and I never saw any of the unemployment collecting folks come on over and apply for a job. Also, I got paid the same as everybody else, not under minimun wage. I was not collecting welfare, and/or foodstamps, any of that. I always paid taxes but never got any back, just couldn't.
Anyway I got tired of getting a letter in the mail every year: "Your Social Security Number is incorrect", so I knew I would eventually leave.
Some people simpathized with me and told me I should look for a way to regularize my situation, but there were none. Only those with a degree, a large bank account, and/or substantial amounts of property or business can do so.
Anyway, mass deportation of 12 million seems very unrealistic. Why, it took the Nazis over a decade to arrest, deport and destroy over 6 million people, using brutal methods at that, methods the US would never use!

Absolutely! Aprox. 12-15 million jobs for legal citizens would be available. Of course our business men and their families would have to shop at wal-mart instead of macy's, vacation once a year instead of 3 times a year, cut down to 1 housekeeper instead of 4 and enroll their kids in public schools instead of private. Well they'd have to sacrifice some finer things as they call them, some prestige, to afford to pay their American employees a descent honest wage. But then of course this would bring back the middle class and this wouldn't fit into the great agenda. Iv'e recently come to really understand that our big $ business people in this country would rather sacrifice their Liberty then to sacrifice their own comfort for a fellow American. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer! It's the poor and middle class in this Nation that are willing to sacrifice everything they have to keep our Liberty and to keep our Country a Sovereign Nation. That's just sad! I've been beat out of min wage jobs by Mexicans who cross the border every day, don't know if they're legal or not. All I know is I am willing to do the job so many illegal supporters say I won't and I can't even get the job, I don't speak Spanish and wouldn't fit in. Whatever! The truth is I am American and they have to pay me the min. wage required by law and they have plenty of illegals willing to work for less. So here I stand in the unemployment line and welfare line, an American citizen by birth, drawing benefits, living off of your tax dollars and mine with little hope of change. Someone give me a toilet to clean or a lawn to mow, I'll be right there! I'll be willing to drive the bus full back across to their own soil!

While I find this a very interesting idea.....I foresee a few problems. Eventually (2-3 years) pretty much all the illegals are going to be deported and there will no longer be a need for these services. We will be left with Americans who no longer have a paycheck, empty buses, costly detention centers, etc.
One example similar to what you have suggested is this. Communities around military installations thrive off our soldiers. When 25,000 troops need to be packed up and shipped off to defend and protect us......it takes alot work.....(buses, rail loading, storage facilities, paper work (wills, POA, family plans) etc. This means ALOT of jobs for civilians in the area. When the troops are gone........90 percent of those jobs go too. Buses don't need to be driven, storage facilities are full, families have all needed paperwork, vehicles are loaded and shipped. This leaves a chunk of our workforce scrambling to find comparable work/pay.
While the concept you suggest is GREAT (if a mass deportation is executed) it just leaves a few holes in the end.
But 50/50 some will say we have accomplished the goal and who cares.......I just choose to look at things from all sides.

Can anyone tell me where to get all this aid? 80 BILLION! wow! Because my husband is concidered "illegal" and he don't get a dime! Even when he had to have an emergency opperation he got no aid. He has over 9000$ in medical bills that we pay on every month. And as far as your question goes...dont you think that building all these "companys" would take alot of US dollars? Illegals are people too, even if what they did is wrong, you act like they are dirt or something! And I hope one day you will see just how selfish you are! May YOU don't "belong here"

Unfortunately, most of the money to accomplish the detention, food, people to process these illegals, and transport would all be paid for by OUR TAX DOLLARS, instead of feeding our hungry, housing our own criminals, etc. Taxes pay for everything that is not in the private sector, and even some of those are subsidised by our tax dollars. Taxes go up, and up because the law that is on the books are not inforced.

Actually, the deportation of illegal immigrants would cause our country gross domestic product to fall and this would decrease all foreign investment in the United States, this combined with a rising minimum wage, and rising prices would be detremental to the United States economy.
Instead of making more jobs, the companies would not be able to afford to hire as many people and this would cause unemployment to rise dramatically.
So in response to your question, no, the U.S. wouldn't be able to afford the master plan you had in mind.

But-but-if we got rid of the illegal immigrants, there would be nobody standing in the grocery line in front of you that has no idea how to speak English, no jerks blaring their bass up at 3 in the morning, and nobody complaining they're not criminals when they live in the U.S. ILLEGALLY. Key word: ILLEGAL. I'm sorry, Hispanics, I'm sure you're very nice people, but you can take the time to become citizens if you want to live here, just like the rest of the immigrants. What makes you guys think you're so special.
P.S. Learn to speak English. Hispanics are the only people in the world who don't want to speak English.

Yes but those people that we would be deporting....they usually are the ones that do the crappy jobs most legal Americans wouldn't do. Americans would be too sue happy to work for more than a week straight before 'injuring' themselves and having to claim workmans comp.
Look at it this way. We don't pay workmans comp, medicaid, social security or health benefits on those people at all.
