Actually my first boyfriend was 3 years older than me too, and I was actually 13 when we met. I don't think it's wrong, but I do think that at the tender age of 13, your ideals may a little different than his. I lost my virginity to my boyfriend (not at 13!), but several years later, and all I can say is that teenage boys are horny. He dumped me soon afterwards so he could be with other girls. As long as you keep your relationship on a light level (no sex), I think you two will be fine. Both of you are young, but who's to say it couldn't work out later? I hope your parents know though. It'e better not to be sneaking around.

Well usually I'd say that age doesn't matter, but in your case I think it does. I don't think a 16 year old guy has any business chasing after a 13 year old girl. Believe it are not you are still a child & so is he. You should have a boyfriend your age, not that much older than you because he is going to be ready for things a lot sooner than you. I think you should reconsider this. I can't believe your parents are allowing you to date a 16 year old. My parents wouldn't have.

Yes that is wrong. At that age, 1-2 years makes a big difference. I am sorry but you are a kid and he is almost an adult. For me, 13 and 16 is wrong.

With those ages kind of. I mean what does a 16 year old have in common with a 13 year old?? You're 13, you should be playing with barbies not dating. You're still a child.

well no I don't think so. My parents were 14 18 whem they started dating, and 18(mom) and 22(dad) when they got married. they've been married for 21 years with no problem, reraly fights (and when they do it's a little quarrel and it only last a few minutes) On the other hand, if your parents aren't O.K. with it you shouldn't date him. You're parents know wats best usualy. You should listen to them wiether it's a good or bad desicion that they made. But if you love him or just like him and his and your' parents don't mind, I'de say it's o.k. but the age isn't that weird.

My boyfriend is 3 years older then me - we are 19 and 22

But at 13 you are a little young, so as long as you are careful and your parents are okay with it - have fun

It's not wrong, but just remember that it's illegal to have intercourse with someone more than 4 years apart.
