3 cups of sugar
1 stick of butter or margarine
1/2 cup of milk
dash of salt
4teaspoons of cocoa or Quick
boil above ingredients for 1 minute remove from heat
add 1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup of peanutbutter
stir
add 3 cups of oatmeal
stir
drop on wax paper while still warm this will harden quickly in the pan so you need to spoon it out right away

Combine first 4 ingredients in a pan and bring to a boil on medium heat. Cool 1 minute and add remaining ingredients. Stir well and drop by teaspoons onto waxed paper. These are no bake cookies. Optional: nuts and or coconut.

No-Bake Cookies
I felt rather dubious when my wife first told me about these, delighted when she first made them for me, and now she makes me beg when I want some.
1 tablespoon butter
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup milk
2 cups uncooked quick-cooking oatmeal
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
36 cookies

1. Combine first four ingredients in a large saucepan.
2. Place over medium heat, and bring to a boil.
3. Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
4. Add remaining ingredients, and blend thoroughly.
5. Drop rounded teaspoons full onto waxed paper, and let cool at room temperature.

Melt one cup of peanut butter and one bag chocolate chips together, add one teaspoon of vanilla, and then add raw oats until it is thick enough to form balls. Drop on a cookie shet and let cool.
