i do it all the time and i'm not exactly 'skinny'. believe me, you're one of many mothers who are still proud of their bodies. don't be ashamed. people aren't gonna be 'looking' for marks, and so what if they do? they'd have to be shallow and small minded to say something to you. have fun!

its not tacky, stretch marks are normal. However, no matter how many people tell you that, you will still feel self conscious. There is a way to remove them tho.
MSM (methylsulfonylmethane). I think that's how its spelled... If you take this supplement along with using the cream version, any stretch mark you have will be repaired until you can no longer see it. This substance is the only one I know of which can penetrate deep into the skin to reach the stretch mark. Check out the first question I answered in my profile. It has more info and some helpful links. Good luck!

Don't worry about what other people think. Many women have stretch marks from puberty. Besides, I was at the beach this weekend, and I saw a whole bunch of people that shouldn't have been wearing bikinis in them...just wear one, be confident, and don't worry!

yes, its okay. Haven't you ever seen those supermarket tabloids, even the sexiest stars have stretch marks and cellulite. Girl if some is that close and don't like what they see, then they could move the hell away from you. No one is perfect. If you have the body that still looks good in the two piece, then flaunt it.
If some complains maybe you should look and see what is imperfect about them and make a point to point it out.
Do what makes you feel comfy, and if you are confident in what you are wearing, that's all that matters.
Enjoy the sun... :)

Oh my gosh...I take my kids to the water park all of the time. I swear to you that I don't think there is one person in a bikini who doesn't have a stretch mark. I know because I have checked it out. Even really young tiny girls get them on their hips. Stretch marks can occur from rapid growth during puberty...NOT just weight gain. Girl...you go and wear that bikini with pride. You earned those stretch marks. Screw the chicks who say no go.

If you want to wear the bikini... then wear the bikini. Don't worry about all of the superficial jerks in the world. They will eventually have stretch marks, wrinkles and a few extra pounds. Don't spend any time on what they think... spend it on important stuff like... What color bikini will you get... maybe a yellow polka dot bikini...LOL

I think it's tacky to let what other people think stop you fom being comfortable! If you feel like you look good in a two piece then rock the two piece!!! I wear one and I have a few stretch marks and if anyone doesn't like how it looks, it won't hurt my feelings if they look away!

I don't think it's tacky but I think you shouldn't care what other people think. If you feel comfortable in a bikini then go for it girl. you earned those marks by giving birth so who cares if someone doesn't like them. If someone doesn't like the way you look in a two piece then they need to stop lookin!

No I don't think it's tacky. Mostly everyone has stretchmarks somewhere. I first got stretch marks on my hips at the age of 11. (I wasn't fat) I know plenty of skinny people that have stretch marks somewhere!

No. It's not tacky. Stretch marks happen (as do wrinkles, cellulite, and spider veins). Just wear it!
You think you look good in it and that's the only thing that matters.
