probably not an occult but some churches my have "cultic" tendencies. I wouldn't say all Assemblies of God churches are cultic.

It depends on your def of cult. If you mean like an anti christian, or blasphemous organization, then no. They are a god loving people who believe the exact same as evangelicals, yet they believe in the second baptism, the baptism of the holy spirit. This will enable them to speak in tongues and prophesy. A common misconception is that prophesy is the fore telling of the future, but the new testament says that in days like today, it is connecting the importance of the Bible with events that are happening right now. The Bible speaks fondly of the second baptism, although many Christians denounce it. A second def of a cult is just a group of people who believe in a set of ideas, so in a sense, all christian churches are a cult. I hope this helped.
