Martin Luther had his facts wrong. Anything that goes against the 10 Commandments in the Bible is a sin. A lie is a lie, and therefore a sin, even if the intentions are good.

Can you show where Luther said lying is okay?
"I consider no vice on Earth to be more damaging than lies and disloyalty, which rip all human community apart. First, lies and disloyalty tear first the hearts apart. After the hearts are torn apart, then the hands part company. When the hands part company, then what can one do or make?" --Martin Luther, WA (Weimar edition of Luthers Werke) 51: 259

do you have a source for the claim that Martin Luther ever stated that it is OK to lie for any purpose?
I think you are mistaken. However, I am not a Lutheran nor a protestant of any denomination. I am a Catholic Christian of the Roman Rite.

First of all, Martin Luther was a good man, but he is not the Lord and Saviour. God means what He says (hoping that you believe the Bible is true), GOd says he hates lying, and it is an abomination unto Him. I discipline my own children more for lying than anything else.

Lying is a sin and should not be done under any circumstances.
Just because Luther had one good idea, does make anything else he said true.

No, because lying is sin. Also, you shouldn't lie to the truth. It's hypocritical, your're making the truth a lie, anyway.
Lying still isn't okay, even if it is human nature.

There is no Christian agenda, just people's agenda. People who lie are afraid to face the consequences of being a fallower of God. It is not right to lie, but everyone does it. It isn't okay to break the 10 commandments, but Jesus made it to where you can get into heaven if you do. Thanks Jesus ;)
