I am not sure about anything that can stunt her growth, but I am having the same problem.Actually your kitten sounds bigger...ours are 6 weeks old today one is huge, one is ok in size, but the others are palm size, wheres as some kittens that we had born on the 18th of june, are twice the size of any of them. I think it depands alot on the litter size.Good luck with your kitty.

She's still only six weeks old!!! Mine is about ten weeks old and still pretty little. She'll start growing before you know it and once she does you'll wish she was tiny again. I don't think there are any diseases that stunt their growth. She may just be a small cat. There are lots of different breeds you know.

There is a breed of cat that remains tiny and always keeps a kitten like behavior. I can't remember the name of it, but I'm sure there's information about it if you look it up.
Later: Yeah, munchkin, someone else said it.

It is too bad others can be so rude but you do not sound stupid it is nice to see people who care for their pets. My kitty was very small as well it took her about a year or so to fill out if she is not symptomatic I would not worry you just have a little one

Are you wanting to stunt her growth? She sounds perfectly normal in size to me. If you have any concerns, take her to the vet, which is is ready for her first set of vaccinations anyway.

Check with a vet if you're really concerned.

you may have her thyroid checked as hyper thyroidism is very common in cats and can be treatable. either 1x laser treatment or daily doses of medication. be sure you feed different varieties of food and feed plenty if she dosen't have enough protein she won't grow.

if you nuresd it in stead of its mum then it will take longer to grow as mothers milk is the best for babies. give it time it should slowly get bigger
