Why do you think that french people don't like american so much ?

Please consider this question seriously, not on basical reaction of anti-american.
I say "french" but it's right for so many countries . . . It might be a reason.

Maybe because of the american political / social choices, (political and individual) american attitudes towards little countries or individual attitude of american people as tourist in foreign countries.

But I really would like to know what YOU mean. Thanks.

we have NO respect for other ppls countries and/or culture, our attitude is "**** EM". pardon MY french!

U speak french very well, are u living over there?
It`s a matter of fact that french people don`t like so much the actual american governement, we`ve got some issues with people like Mr Bush...
But I`m not sure that it`s applicable for all american people, or I hope not... Anyway it`s always difficult to be really open minded, most of the time it`s all about culture... We`re just different, but it`s the interest for me, the famous melting pot...
Althought I think TV, newspapers`ve got a part of responsabities...

It has more to do with American politics and government.
The American govt spoils its citizens and they DO act spoilt...

America has goofed-up every country they supposedly went in to "help." The fact is, we don't mind our own business. We try to impose our beliefs and ideas on everybody. The whole thing is really about greed.

There is SLAVERY still going on in the world. You heard me, SLAVERY! I'm talking about MILLIONS OF PEOPLE in countries like Sudan. Nor am I referring to white slavery or certain forms of prostitution - but actual, old fashioned slavery.

What is the US government doing about it? For one thing, they're suppressing media coverage of it. That's why few of us even know it is taking place. What happened to the lofty morals that we so often use as an excuse to interfere with and bully other Nations.

And what about female circumcision? The Muslim practice in countries like Egypt that means girls" genitals are mutilated according to a custom. Again, few of us hear about it, and NOTHING is done.

These Holy er than thou morals that The US puts in the faces of the rest of the world is nothing but an excuse to protect our material interests. AND THE REST OF THE WORLD KNOWS IT!
