Children being abused?

with all the child protective services and programs, why are there still children being abused, and left in their abusive homes?

Because it isn't always that easy to identify abusers and abusive homes.

Having large police forces doesn't mean there is no crime, after all. Crime or abuse have to be identified, reported, investigated and prosecuted. These things don't always happen, and don't happen over night, except in the most outrageous circumstances.

It's particularly true in cases of abusive that the children will often lie to protect their parents; the parents may suck, but they are the fathers or mothers that the children love.

Its sad but there are so many abusive homes. The protective services can only deal with things they know too. A lot of children are afraid to tell or think they deserve it or dont even realize they are being 'abused'. That is why teachers and family usually are the ones that get involved first.

I know we are suppose to believe that the system works but it doesn't always. There are so many kids and adults who are afraid to tell what they know. Also there are those cases where a child is disciplined by a parent(in the correct way) and the child screams abuse. Or a couple separate and one or the other says the child is being abused. All the stupid things take time away from the child who is in desparate need of help. PLEASE if you are a child or know of a child report it, just be sure it is for real.

Not enough is being done to educate people who are thinking about becoming parents and those who are already on the proper way to raise a family and children.

There are no courses on parenting. Every idiot out there who thinks they can abuse children, can take advantage and most don't get locked up or shot.

Education, and values should be imposed on everyone , especially where children are concerned.

Unfortunately, I think the biggest reason is due to under funded agencies. Another reason, I'm sure is that people tend to "mind their own business". It's too bad too. Many children would probably be helped if someone would just speak up. You can make anonymous calls to any social service agency in your area. Even if you're not sure, it's better to be safe than sorry.

I think that their are not enough people who care, and not enough places for them to go, also it is very hard to get a child away from its mother, the court will almost sent the mother to some type of class or something befor they take the child away. It is very sad. But keep caring and do what you can. People dont relize what a huge influence 1 person makes.

that's because men and boys are never abused by women-correct??? Where can a man go after his wife just got done beating him with a cordless phone over the head or a boy was molested by his female school teacher???

When it comes to spousal abuse in the new milenia, women have the law on their side, at least here in the U.S.
Judges are way too lenient when it comes to women breaking the law!

Because people are reluctant to report the abuse. They're not sure or they don't want to get anyone introuble. The agencies can't protect those they don't know are being hurt.

i think of which you basically propose that Christianity is toddler abuse. sure, i think of that if human beings warp it is meaning then it is toddler abuse. human beings could take the solid words from the bible that inform you to love and not hate. some human beings are probable basically ignorant to adjustments in society and justify them via saying that those distinctive human beings will rot in hell in the event that they do no longer substitute right into a white Christian heterosexual male

this world is wicked and not all the children being abused can be helped. this world can only offer so much. Its sad but true.
