I've tried eating less, only to be hungry all the time. I've tried a wide variety of diet pills, a lot of them made me crazy. Is there a good diet pill out there? Something that will help burn the fat and give me energy to workout with?

First off, make sure you are eating enough. A lot of people think of a diet as eating less, when infact, it isn't necessarily that. If you aren't eating enough, your metabolism will slow down and you will lose weight a lot slower. Make sure you are eating enough calories to get thru your day, as well as exercise. Look up weight watchers in yahoo answers for a great diet, or go join weight watchers. It gives you a diet for your weight, to be modified as you lose weight, and it allows you to eat more on the days you work out so that your body is still getting enough calories. I have been doing it for a week and have lost 3 lbs. Diet pills are usually a scam!! But for something that will give you the energy and stamina at the gym, try a Vitamin B complex, or these drinks called Airforce NutriSoda in Energy, which is a great tasting drink filled with B vitamins. They give you lots of energy. Also, have 3 servings of milk a day, this will help burn fat.

Ok, you are exercising at the gym 3x week, that is great! But I think you may need to change your diet. Eat healthy food, nothing junk, divide the food in small portions and eat 6 times per day instead of 3 keeps your sugar up and your stomach feeling better. Try to munch on apples, carrots, peanuts when you need a snack.
At the gym, try new exercises, work different parts of your body each day, it is not just a matter of using the treadmill, and also really push your self, you can do it!

I feel for you as I know how hard it is. Not sure of your age but if you are 50+ it is definitely harder due to menopause. But anyway, after many attempts, I found that a few things help me 1) do not eat ANYTHING after 6 pm - no kidding, it really helps a lot. Just drink water. 2) do not drink sugary drinks - if you don't like sugarfree drinks, just drink water. 3) if you got hungry you probably were eating too little which is bound to make you fail, eat at least 1200 - 1400 calories a day. YOu will find if you choose your foods carefully you can get a lot of food for the calories. No skin on the chicken, small amts of butter, limited carbs such as bread/potatos, etc. Combining your diet with exercise will definitely give you results in time. As they say, it took you awhile to put on the pounds, it will take awhile to lose them. Hope it helps. Thought: No food tastes as good as the feeling of being thin. Put that on our refrig door. Good Luck!

Try to exercise 4 to 5 times a week, and be sure to include weight training (which could even be Yoga) to increase your lean body mass (i.e., muscle). If you are not overeating, there may be an underlying medical problem. Do you keep a food journal to ensure that you do not overeat?

By the way, homeopathy is very, very dubious. Check out the link below and do a search on the BBC.

You need at least 30 minutes of aerobic exercise 5x a week, and lift weights twice a week. 1250 calories a day is all you should be having. You get used to it, though it's hard. You should lose 2-3 lbs per week that way.

I am not sure this will work for you, but i discovered this revolutionary new diet, the one day diet. The name may be deciving, because it takes at least four days to work. This diet worked for me, and helped me loose twenty pounds in a week! no joke. You need to start one day, say today, and eat anything you want to. Then tomorow, you fast, that is, not eat anything at all. The next day you eat whatever again, and the next day you fast. And just keep going, after four days of this, your stomach will shrink and you wont get as hungry as much. On the non eating days, just imagine what it is going to be like the next day when you can eat whatever you want, only you wont want to eat that much, because your stomach will have shrunken. Combined with your vigorous work out plan, this should be the diet that will help you loose the weight you want in the time frame you have.

Don't eat less necessarily...eat healthier. Eat 2 servings of whole grains a day (whole grain cereal, bread or crackers) eat 2-3 servings of fruit, 4-5 servings of vegetables, 3 servings of lean protein (nuts, fish, chicken, cottage cheese), and a light snack. If you stick to that AND exercise at least 4-5 days a week....you should have no problem.

I think South Beach is a great eating plan. The recipes are wonderful. If you cut out sugar, butter, mayo, and white flour, I assure you the weight will come off quickly. Hoodia goronii is supposed to be a great supplement to ward off hunger. Drink lots of water too (that's the hardest part for me).Good luck!

Eat several (5-6) small meals a day...your body will burn calories faster and build your metabolism in a short period of time.
(eat about every 2 hours)
The first 8-10 pounds you shed is water.
Meal suggestions:
1st: piece of fruit
2nd: string cheese, summer sausage, cottage cheese/yogurt
3rd: bowl of cereal
4th: soup/sandwich
5th: a good dinner-meat, potatoes/pasta/rice, veggie...your body needs carbs, protein and vitamins to stay healthy
6th: salad/raw veggies
Drink plenty of water
Drink milk or juice/water with every meal (no soda pop)
Stay away from munchies, fried & fatty foods.
Continue to go to the gym, also do daily simple exercise like walking/hiking...swimming and biking are low impact, playing games like basketball, baseball, volleyball will tone your body and you'll have fun doing it.

Homeopathic Treatment for Excessive Fat and Weight :-
PHYTOLACCA BERRY's Mother Tincture is perhaps the safest and sure fire way of loosing excessive fat around abdomen. With Phytolacca Berry once you loose the excessive fat and weight you don't get it back because you body takes care of itself after that and keeps you from gathering up excessive fat. It is prescribed after having a baby too, to get the tummy to loose its flab and to make it flatter and tighter. And after loosing weight with this you don't get flabby it tightens up the flab and skin along with helping your body to shed the excessive accumulation of fat around the girth
The dosage is 15 to 20 drops of the tincture in half a cup of hot water thrice a day half hour before or after meals.
Avoid Chocolates, Coffee, Mints, Red Meat and Carbonated and Alcoholic drinks while taking Homeopathic Medicines. You have to take it for at least 30 to 45 days after that you start to feel the results.
To the best of my knowledge its the safest and the most sure fire way of loosing fat and weight and keeping it of for keeps. Excellent remedy for Obese people who cant seem to shed weight despite trying.
Homeopathic Remedies can be found at all Major Herbal Stores or could be bought on line, In most of the world Homeopathic remedies are quite cheap and easy to find and they do not need a prescription.
Take care and God Bless !

Hey there, try the Atkins diet. I lost 20 pounds in the first 2 weeks, but then again, I gained it all back pretty quickly once I started eating carbs again, but if you are desperate, that is what I suggest. Good luck!
