You can pretty much take anything you want on an airplane as long as it's not fresh fruit or vegetables. I've seen people buy stuff before they get on the airliner and munch out when they are ready.
You really want to bring stuff that is not going to spoil, so Nabisco packs are a good idea. A container of water or soda because most airlines usually charge for drinks now.

Pretzels or Cookies or Anything taht you really like!
There is no limit!
They also have many snacks avaible at the airport or you can eat at the airport before the flight takes off.

You could pack a sandwich, buy a couple little bags of pretzels or chips, and a granola bar. If you forget most airports have store where you can buy snacks, but it is more expensive than buying it at the grocery store.

that mainly depends on what YOU like eating!! me, personally, dried fruit, regular fruit, beef jerky, pb and j...things that will keep and don't get too squished or smelly.
