He'll not call you as much. Forget things. Leave early contineously, Make up stuff. His mood and posture towards you will change. Really if your instint is telling you it's going bad, look into it.

I think they tend to distance themselves emotionally as well as physically. Communication begins to break down (never there when you call, never calls you, appears to be mentally elsewhere when you do spend time together). These are signs of something really bothering him and you need to open the lines of communication, draw him out, and find out what issues are bothering him. If he wants out of the relationship - let him go for your peace of mind and his.

He will probably not talk to you as much or see you as much as normal, and he will have a lot of excuses as to why. If he had anything at your house those things may slowly start to dissapear if they mean anything to him,
