I love children and babysitting jobs dont gaurntee the payment of bills and the extra things I want; so I was wondering if the in-home Nanny thing could be something that I could consider in the near future. I just dont hear of many people having them, thats why I was wondering. So what do you think??? Would it be a reliable job???

If your free and you don't mind living with someone the jobs are endless. They will knock down your door to get you.
From the senior citizen lady who if she doesn't find someone to live with her she ends up in a nursing home. The pay is great and you get free room and board and you just have to be there.
To the married couple with kids who both work and need a wife to buy grocerys and be there when the kids come home and don't forget to go by the cleaners and pick up the dry cleaning..
Are you kidding the pay is great and all you have to be is 18 and love people. No bills to pay, what you make you spend on you.
Put an add in a newspaper and your phone will ring off the hook.

I think that if you do things to make yourself marketable in that field, it would be a great career! I don't know how old you are, but a few things I would suggest are: taking child development and/or psychology classes; getting CPR certified; have references ready; perhaps offer a background check. Just remember that there is nothing in a parent's life more important than their children and there is no job in the world that is more important than caring for children. If you truly believe this, then show people that and, yes, I believe you will do well. If your first concern is money, however, this is not the job for you. Good luck!

it is a good thing if you are young,a way to save money for college and a car, but if you are looking to do this for the rest of your life, no i dont think so, that is for teenagers or young adults.not a caeer chioce, you wont have a social security check latetr and you cant have a 401k, to save for retirement.it is not worth wasting time just to make and save a lil money.thats it.
