like if you eat before you sleep

the reason people are told not to eat after 7 or 8 pm is because your digestive system begins shutting down for sleep at night. whatever your metabolism rate is, it's at its lowest at night. try eating your biggest meals at your most active part of the day. plus, your body does most of its cholesterol digesting/metabolizing at night. so aside from the fat on the outside, you want to keep cholesterol-rich foods from being in your system at night. that way your arteries won't clog as much.

Let's just say that whatever you eat at nite doesn't get worked off, not one little bit! If you've eaten sugary things it does turn to fat, if you've eaten alot of breads these turn to sugar, so be careful what you do injest before you go to sleep. Your lightest meals should be at nite. Your heaviest meals are breakfast and lunch because you can work these off. We gain weight alot from what we eat at night. Hope this helps..........

I don't know, but I do know that it's bad because you don't work it off by being as active as you would during the day.
