and now the skin on his paws have peel off or either cracked. What can I do about this?

We use bag balm. You can get it at PetSmart in the horse section. Its in a green tin. We live in AZ so my pups feet get dry from the heat. We've been using it for a month now and its been working great.

There is another product that works well too...it's called Protect a Pad....can get it at vet offices or pet stores

well..am not sure if u can actually replace this, but u may want to keep him off running up and down too much for a while, it'll more or less heal itself, otherwise take him to see the vet, i hope it heals up soon.

Put Vaseline on the pads.
