Is he neutered? That is the #1 thing you need to have done. An unneutered male fights for territory, and his territory may well extend beyond your yard. If you know who he's fighting with, and he is also unneutered, you will never get them to stop. If your guy is neutered, then odds are, it's an unneutered male that sees your yard as part of his territory, and is bullying your cat. If you really don't want your cat to be beat up all the time, make him an inside cat, maybe he just isn't cut out for the great outdoors.

There is no way to it. If you don't want your cat to fight, keep him inside or get rid of the outside cat. Cats are cats and they will fight.

I take it he isn't neutered?
If his injuries are mostly to the head and face, he's getting laid on a fairly regular basis, and the only way to stop him from coming home scratched and battered is to neuter him. However, if his injuries are more to the body, neutering MIGHT help, or might not. If this is the case, you're going to have to either keep him inside or learn to live with it.

kill the outside one
or just spray ur cat with a strong PERFUME ..cats dont like the smell & the outside would turn its back away.. but notice ur cat would have no cat friends)
