First of all, my son has this "bug" where he has had diarreah for the past 2 weeks. The doc told us that it is common in children, and the "bug" will pass eventually.
Well, the past two days I have been REALLY achy. My back is so achy and sensitive that it is uncomfortable when I lay on it. My stomach is always turning and aches as well. Today I started with diarreah too! I know it's the same thing that my son has, but does anyone know what I can do for the achy and sensitive back? Please help!

Go to a doctor who knows what he's talking about and will pay attention. That sounds like a rather vicious bug I got when I was still an adolescent- except my bug didn't last that long.

Meanwhile, try sipping ginger ale or crushed ice with coke for liquid. And sleep on your side: Niether your stomach nor your back will want pressure on them.

Feel better!

Go see a doctor who knows what they're talking about and be tested to be sure it's not something more than garden variety diarrhea. Kids dehydrate easily and quickly , and 2 wks is too long for these symptoms to still be going on.

I like Page's answer...your first answer. Also immodium will help your diarrhea, as well as bananas. Try to keep yourself hydrated. Best of luck to you........
