I am a Carmel Queen, 5'11 weighing in at around 140lbs.
I was wondering how others felt about something that I have been dealing with my whole adult years. BEING TALLER than my lover and not being prejudice when dating. My thing is..."If he's good to me who cares if he's black, white or latino...who cares if I am taller than him by an inch or two (LMAO). Should it REALLY matter? (And) Does it matter to you?

No matter what religion, lifestyle, height, weight one is should not matter Love is love and I feel great about it! I really don't mind interracial dating. I think its beautiful when people can express their feelings and not bow to the status que placed on us by society. People forget the culture of America and so it seems, there isn't what they would describe a "problem" with this situation, They choose not to address it, well the "problem" is people being color blind, to the specifics of the word, BLIND TO THE COLORS AROUND YOU. They are unwilling to accept them and hence they are not there or you are blind to them. I don't believe in color blindness, its ignorance, it needs to change, be aware of the wondrous variety around you and accept it. I Think its extremely interesting to learn about other people's ways of life. I think its really sad that people of any race can simply 'dis' others because they are of any color.

I understand your pain Caramel Queen. Most females love the fact that I am 6'2, it gives them a since of security. Your man hovering over you and you have to look up into his eyes. But unfortunately you are not within the height of an average woman, thus may not always have this privilege. This is no big deal though. We are all blessed and the way we where created. If all guys where tall and handsome the world would be boring. So I say as long as you can find a guy who is not intimidated by this, regardless of his race, color, creed....etc., you will be OK!

It really shouldn't matter!!! It doesn't matter to me. Just remember that when it comes to true love it doesn't matter the age, color, realign,race, height, weight, etc... The only thing that matters is that u luv him and he luvs u.

Height doesn't matter at all, and neither should race. If you love the guy, and he loves you, then neither of you should give a damn what anyone else thinks.

no it doesnt really matter 2 me because my parents are blck n white so like u said it doesnt matter as long as he loves u n u love him the same way

interracial dating doesn't matter to me but y bf being shorter then me that's a problem why am 5'2 that's shot and he's shorter then me lol that's not going to work
