He's contracted this bad habit. He even eats it! How can I stop him from doing this?

Im also afraid if he eats it will he get sick? afterall....its really nasty.

Try being a teacher in a room full of preschoolers! I get grossed out every day! When I see a child picking their nose I say "It looks like you need a tissue." I then remind them to wash their hands. Make sure you have plenty of tissue boxes handy and that he knows where to find them. Tell him that he can get really sick if he eats it (he can't).
Don't punish him. Everyone needs to pick sometimes. Tell your son if he needs to pick to go and do it in the bathroom and when he's done to wash his hands. Good luck!

I heard someone tell the baby that their nose is going to eat their finger.

Scold him everytime he does it but, really, it's not a huge thing. Almost everyone does it, even into adulthood, they're just better at hiding it than kids. The eating will probably correct itself on its own from just his peers looking down at it.

Tell him a snake will bite the end of his finger if he keeps picking his nose.

my son had the same habit. i told him that if he picks his nose then blood will come out of it. i gave him a tissue and told him to blow in it instead. he didnt listen at first but i told him that if blood tends to come out it will never stop and that he has to go to the doctors. this scared the hell out of him. talk to your son.

1st eww 2nd u can him to stop picking his nose by telling him that when he eats his bougars he is actually eating germs and tiny bugs

just tell him to stop it. That is what I said to my son. he is 32 mos old and i noticed he was picking his nose. I said simply "Do not pick your nose" "take your finger out of your nose" "MOmmy doesn't like to see you pick your nose" "That is Yuckyy Don't pick your nose"
And it worked, he no longer picks his nose.

tell him that if he eats his boogers that he will get worms in his belly and it will make him sick. That is what we told my nephew. It worked! Good Luck

tell him a booger is gonna bite his finger or that his nostrel is gonna stretch out really big
