Why is it that you dont want to believe what he is saying ? He is telling you what he wants. Do you think you can force him to be with you ? If he's honest enough to let you know he doesn't want a relationship unlike other guys who wouldn't say anything and just string you along, then I'm sure he isn't lying to himself.

If he tells you that he's not looking for a relationship then he's looking for one thing and one thing only. Sex. So, if you're searching for a long-term relationship, leave him in the cold and go find someone who will respect you enough to talk straight to you.
