Why is it that you people always have to put someone down, even for something as little as bad spelling?

It's because some people are too stupid to realize that spell chec isn't always 100% perfect, and when you make a mistake by accident, it might not pick it up. But what does it matter if you're happy? Especially being such a beatiful person ;)

It depends on how bad the spelling is. Some of them are simply childish. Others are trying to say you can't read what they say. Then you have the childish people who try to look "cool" by using what they call street talk. Really they look stupid and make it difficult for those of us who read English to read what they say. Actually sometimes I will say against spelling because honestly it hurts my eyes. Other cases are people who simply looking for anything they can to complain. They don't come here to help. They are just little kids who come here to collect points and put people down.

The only reason I would put someone down for spelling is if they are insulting others. You know the saying, "People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones"?

It's just the fact that there is a spell check on here and some people are too lazy to use it, when it may help them communicate their questions better to others.

if your spelling is not correct from a mistake or not knowing how to spell a word you should use the spell check. but if its from being lazy and not caring how it is spelled then you deserve all the ridicule you get. and how can the question be answered if its not understandable ? it doesn't take a lot of effort to spell check!!

People shouldn't ridicule you for your spelling, but you could try to use the spell check before you send out a question. Everyone makes spelling mistakes but if you have a way to help yourself, ie. spell check, why not use it?

Bad spelling isn't something little. It's how you communicate with people and if you're a poor speller then you come off as stupid and that's no way to get good business.

I love this forum for one simple reason ..... People reveal the most important aspects of themselves completely, mainly because of the freedom of anonymity. What you're seeing is that some people who are really b*tches or @ssholes at heart, but who otherwise hide it, feel at liberty to reveal themselves here. And those who are the best, deepest thinking, and most considerate, who have little opportunity to show their stuff elsewhere, do it right here too.

It's a great question. It's a "mirror" question. The reason people are this way on this medium is because they love staring into the mirror and REALLY seeing themselves.
