I have a guy friend that has a girlfriend. I started talking to him one day on text. Saying I missed him over the summer. Of corse is gf got pissed and started name calling and what not. So I got mad because he let her read his phone. At our town carnival thing he saw I was mad and started asking others why. Once he found out he scolded her in front of everyone! Not me! whats that about????

Sometimes I feel like I'm always the fly in the ointment, but I'd like to at least offer another angle on this. If he first found out about her verbally lambasting you while in a public place and he proceeded to scold her in front of everyone (based on what someone else said) then I might have thought him a tad bit better if he would have taken her aside, get angry (if he must) but listen to the explanation (as shallow as it might be) and then give her a piece of his mind, but in private. I don't know if he is prone to temper displays often, but I would wonder if the same thing could happen to you....and some later date....when he's in a bad mood and someone complains that you did some inappropriate. Maybe I'm thinking too complicated. I tend to do that. :)

It's about being really stupid and not knowing how to keep a relationship together. Almost as stupid as you for expecting him to keep secrets from his girlfriend. Are you trying to break then up? Or are you just a little on the mean side? You're being bad to him and disrespectful to her. Grow up.

If you want to prove me wrong, go apologize to her.

He probably wanted to let you know that you are his friend and that he won't let his g/f control who he can or cannot be friends with. What's that quote again?? "Girlfriends come and go but friends are forever"???? It's something like that

It's about a man being able to have friends and not have to worry about his g/f being a ***** to them. It's about his g/f showing his friend some respect and being so insecure. It is not about him liking you or wanting to hook up with you or whatever else is going through your teenage mind.

he was trying to act like a bad *** in front of the gang, he more than likely got his *** ate out later and then he got on his knees and begged her to forgive him, sounds like the big stud type to me,

He must think alot of your's and his friendship. I wouldn't try to read anything into it, unless he says otherwise.

He probably felt she was trying to control his life, specifically whom he could be friends with.
