I've been with this guy for a little over 3 years and I don't see anything happening.

How long have you been together? If you say six months than you need to relax and stop trying to rush into things. If you say 10 years than you should have left a long time ago if you knew he didn't want something that you needed to have.

Why don't you just sit down with him and ask him where the two of you stand. And of course marriage is a very serious commitment. How long have you all been together? If you are around the 1 year mark, typically it's probably too soon for him. But again, it all depends on the situation and the man. Don't ask him to marry you. It's 2006, yes, but with that mentality are you going to be the leader in the marriage, the breadwinner, the provider for the family? Wait for him to ask you.

You don't mention how long you have known each other. As someone who jumped into marriage too soon, I would implore you not to marry anyone you haven't been exclusive with for at least a year. You should see them through all the seasons so you really, really know what you are getting into.
However, if you've been dating more than three years without at least planning to become married, I think he has no intention of messing up the good thing he has going now for something that would require giving more of himself and altering his future forever. In that case, attached as you are, he's just not as into you as you are to him. Sorry.

How long have you been together? If it's been more than 3 years and you are 25 or older then ask him to marry you. If he says no, break it off and don't see him any more.

It depends on how long you been with him. But, if it has been awhile and the possibility of marriage looks grim, then you should ask him to marry you. If he shows hesitation or diswant, then moving on might be a better idea. Don't let him drink the milk without buying the cow!!

How could I tell you what to do when all you say is you're in love and you don't think he'll ever ask to marry you. Do what your heart is leading as long as your head allows it. Good luck.

Don't push him or he's going to run. If you're in love is he? Is the relationship good? Then why do you need to fix what ain't broken? I keep saying to all my ladies when I answer these types of questions....MEN DO NOT RESPOND WELL UNDER PRESSURE. So if you want to blow a good thing....then you're on the right track.
