My boyfriend looks at porn occasionally when we're on breaks from college, but never when I'm with him. We have a very healthy sexual relationship, but since I know he looks at porn sometimes it makes me feel like i'm not attractive enough for him. Why do guys feel the need to watch porn when they're in a relationship with someone and they have an active sex life with them?

Well you know, they say that guys think about sex, what, every 15 seconds or something like that? When he's not with you, he still has sex on his mind, and you're not there to occupy those thoughts so he dabbles in a little porn to get him by until he can be with you again. I wouldn't take it personally, I'm sure he values you and your relationship more that he does porn.

I dont really see the big deal here... i could see if he was with you, had a chance to do something with you, then chose porn OVER you... but that doesnt sound like the case.
I cant speak for every dude out there, but i cant go more than 3 or 4 days without getting off... period... i just start to get kinda crazy and to be honest, would you rather have him do it to some porn with women that are not real (as far as being there with him) or finding another partner to keep him busy? its just a case of male horniness that plagues many of us. I promise he still is attracted to you, its just a substitute when you arent around...
If you still feel unattractive... maybe you could make a home video of yourself that he can watch instead of watching other women? my ex did that for me...

You need to explain your feelings to your guy as far as it making you feel unattractive. He may not be aware of how this affects you. Also, why don't you watch it together? You might find you both enjoy it and even have a more sizzling sex life.
As for why guys watch it? They are very visual creatures and that's my guess why they do, so if your comfortable with it, watch it with him.

Most guys are very visual while women are more emotional. They crave seeing it...at every angle. It doesn't always mean he wants something else. Actually it might make him more creative. Unless it is interupting your time or you feel he is addicted to it...let him have his porn time...you might even considering looking with him if it is not too offensive to you.

u said when ur on breaks from college... away from u. guys can go all the time if it works right and that means were horny all the time. at least hes not cheating on you. It has nothing to do with being attracted to you, it has everything to do with getting off without cheating when your not around
