how would anybody deal with stalker, slanderer that's making my life a misery for years?

in spite of the police claims that i've logged at the police station with regards to this situation, he hasn't stopped. all this is affecting me even psychologically, i feel that i cannot handle anymore anything, is affecting even my day in day out behaviour, and of course my work which is intellectual and can't think properly anymore, am definitely sick due to the terror that i'm subjected to. Stalkers thrive on the attention they recieve from their victim. Stop giving him any level of attention. Do not answer his calls. Do not answer his emails. Do not answer his text messages. Do not answer "Restricted Number" calls, or "Unknown Name, Unknown Number" calls. Do not respond to his letters. Their mindset is that of a misbehaving child. If they cannot have positive attention, they will throw a temper tantrum for any kind of attention.

Alert your coworkers of the situation that he is to be told that you are not in any time he calls for you, or you no longer work there. Explain the situation to them.

Alert your professors to what is going on, explain to the office of your school that if he calls, that they need to reply you no longer go to school there, or something of that nature.

It may be embarassing to tell them, but it is for your own protection. A minor embarassment now may save your life later. If he leaves you gifts, leave them exactly where he put them, do not move them. If they are moved, this is attention you are giving him.

LOG with TIME and DATE of every incident which has occured and occurs in the future. This will substantiate your claim to the court if you go for a restraining order, which I strongly advise.

U should try moving or going into hiding or something cuz sweety this is really serious! u will never know what he would do to u if he ever got u alone! I went thru the same thing. I would stay with family and friends but I started to feel like he got off on scaring me. I started showing him that he wasn't in controll so he left. I even considered buying a gun.
