I don'tknow, I think they believe nothing happens. don't you know they are gonna be surprised when Jesus wakes them up?

Absolutely nothing, The end of awareness and then eternal worm poopdom. As a matter of fact, Atheists should be the only people granted conscientious objector status because they value life so much that they believe it is wrong to take away such a precious and finite commodity.

We don't know for certain, but observation tells us that the brain ceases to function, which ends one's experience of the world and self, the other organs die, and the body decomposes. All that lives beyond this point are the works that we did during the span of our lives and the memories people have of us.

Atheism isn't a religion, so there isn't a common belief system in place to which all athiests adhere. So, what athiests believe happens after death is as unique as each individual person is.

They believe that you simply cease to exist. The thing that they fail to realize, though, is that God can make something out of nothing. Therefore, He can take what was once your life force or energy, and make a new life out of it.

You die, end of story, you rot or are embalmed and then buried or cremated and your ashes are scattered or placed in the ground...that's it!... GAME OVER!...means our lives are very precious and we only get one shot.

There is no life after death. When your brain stops working you cease to be conscious, hard to understand i know, but that's how it is.
