I've been looking everywhere for pet insurance, but I can't decide what to get. There seems to be a lot of pros and cons for everything. I'm wondering if anyone knows first hand which ones I should or should not go with. Thanks

I have had them for a while. 5% discount if you have more than one pet (5% on each!) and some programs have 100% coverage after your deductible.

I have two Siberian Huskies and I have them both on an insurance plan through PetSmart. It costs about $50 per month for both dogs. The plan I have covers pretty much everything from physical exams to shots to lab work. Basically the only thing that is not covered is to have them spayed or neutered, and even at that, you get a discount if you have them on an insurance plan. With the insurance plan, I can take them in anytime throughout the year if they are sick or I have a concern about them, at no charge. So far, it has saved me about $1,300, as opposed to not having an insurance plan and having to take them to the vet and pay for it on my own. Good luck to you.

With the abundance of unwanted animals the only insurance you need is enough money to have your pet euthanized when he gets sick or seriously injured. Once he is permanently put down, get another pet the same day.
