I don't think that his return is soon at all. I believe that when the church of God is restored to what it is supposed to be, then Jesus will return, but I've heard my whole life that he is coming soon and I don't believe it. What do you think?

Chaos rules the world.
If there was ever a time that needed his appearance, it's now.
To answer your question, no, it's not time yet.

The Bible has Jesus quoted as saying that the end of times would be about 2,000 years ago. Matthew 23:36, Matthew 24:29-35, Matthew 16:28, Mark 13:30-31, Mark 9:1, Luke 9:27, John 21:22, and Luke 21:25-33 are all evidence of this point (I believe so at least). Read those verses and decide what you think he's talking about. Some of them even have so-called "signs" of the end of times. Check especially Matthew 24:29-35. Jesus says: "the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky...Amen, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have taken place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away."

Sooner then you think the mark of the beast is already here and all the middle eastern country are turning against Israel there's war and rumors or wars earthquakes in diverse places all the pieces are coming together no man knows the day our the hour but the church will not be stored as you think the one world religion will be that of the anti-Christ who will claim to be God many people will be deceived by this man he will perform miracles and he will even be murdered and then raise from the dead after is when he will claim to be God for he will be Satan incarnated his religion also known as one world order with a one world police.
This is the New world order that some also call the Brave New World God help all who are here in this time you will have to accept the RF ID to buy or sell this is a computer chip put in your right hand or for head www 666 the mark of the beast. no fairy tale but fact.

I think that I've heard similar ideologies to yours. I do reject them though.

He won't return until after the Earth goes through a period of time called the Great Tribulation. Before that can happen, he will take the church, his 'body' so to speak, out of the way. God's wrath will pour out on the Earth after that.

After a 7 year time period, that's when Jesus will come back. Those that are with Him will return also. The Earth will then face a period of time called the Millenium, where sinful man is still present, yet will worship God from Earth until that 1000 year time period is ended.

That is not the point. The point is that his return could happen any time. We do not know what time that is, so we have to prepare ourselves. We also do not know how much time we have left on this earth, so we must strive to be closer to Him.

Besides, time is relative. To God, a minute is like a million years and a million years is like a minute. Who is to say what he would mean if he said "soon"

Some bible scholars also say that the word for "soon" actually meant "quickly" which means when it comes it will be fast, so prepare yourself.

The kingdom of God is at hand!
God bless.

The Bible tells us that he will come at a time that no one will know or expect. This inclines me to believe that if everyone is saying the end is near, it probably isn't. And the things that are going on now have been going on since the beginning of time.
No one knows. All we can do is make sure that our heart and soul are ready, and otherwise go on living and planning for many tomorrows.

I truly believe Jesus is coming back really soon the signs are all there, and he isn't going to rapture us christians so we will miss the time of trouble so study to show yourself approved, we aren't getting out that easy. Satan's final attack will no t be fun, but if you are safely in Jesus you will make it through!

Well you could be right who can really tell. For sure though it is nearer now than when you first heard about it.

The fact of the matter is that if you die now it is the end of the world for you so it's better to be ready at all times for the coming of Jesus.
