Like I always say, "An indoor cat is a safe cat!"

A lot of things could have happened to him. He could have been nicked by a car. There are a lot of people who think that it is fun to hit animals by the roadside.

He could have been attacked by a dog.

He could have been kicked by a human, who didn't want him on their property.

Cat fights are vicious and that is also a possibility.

I guess my point is, if you keep your pets indoors, you know where they are and what they are up to.

Get him to the vet ASAP. He might have a fracture or pulled muscle or there is a bit wound that needs to be cleaned and attended to.

Oh, another reason to keep your pet indoors, poisen. A lot of people hate all the cats and dogs, or racoons or skunks in their yard, so they lay out poisen. This is a horrible death for any creature! Please, keep him in! He may rebel, since he used to be able to go out, but he will adjust.

I know because I have a feral cat, and there is nothing more he enjoys than ounging around the house. Oh, and he is fixed. Another important thing to do in responsible pet ownership.

Sorry to kind of coming down on you, but I hate seeing cats wandering outdoors where anything can happen to them and the owners sometimes never find out what happned to their animal.
