Why did Islam have conflict with ALL other religions?

Many Muslims claim that Islam is a religion of tolerance, neverthless I realize that Islam had always had conflicts with ALL other majot religions:
1- Prophet Muhammed had conflicts with Pagans, although Pagans used to accept and respect all religions (their Ka'ab included 360 idols for all what other tribes worship).
2- Prophet Muhammed also had conflicts with Jews, which is still claiming more and more lives until now!
3- Muslims used to have conflict with Christians when they invaded Spain and tried to spread to the rest of Europe (there is still much tension between Muslims and Christians all over the world)

Does anyone have any explanation for the real reason why Islam had (and still having) all those conflicts?

1- Christians also had conflicts with Jews, which is still claiming more and more lives until now!
3- Christians killed all the Muslims left over after they drove them out of Spain. (the Muslims were MUCH more tolerant of other religions when they ruled spain. Christians started the Spanish inquisition and drove all the Muslim and Jewish merchants and craftsman out of Spain. this contributed to Spains downfall as great power.)

Does anyone have any explanation for the real reason why Chrisitianity had (and still having) all those conflicts?

You are generalizing things my friend. I will answer your comments.

1) I guess you don't read history or else you would never ever give the point. Pagans tried to kill Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) so many time, why did they do that because he though them to pray only One God. Even after all the beating and threats he got from pagans when he took control over kabba (mecca) he did not even kill his biggest enemy but instead padon all of them.

2) Prophet Muhammed didn't have conflicts with Jews but instead the Jews broked the peace agreement and joined Pagans and betrayed Muslims. FYI Jews leaved peacefully in Spain and Jerusalm when Muslim had control over them ( you can open the history book and check for yourself)

3) Please open history book and learn. Lastly which country recently invaded other country (is it Muslim or christian)? USA

Why did Christians travel around the world, enslave people, kill many innocent women and Children?

What about the Holocaust?

I am a Christian, yet I realize (like many people) that people with crosses around their necks have done many horrible things, just like many who believe in the Prophet have done many horrible things.

Why not ask, "Why do some people of all the major religions claim to be compassionate while choosing to be hateful to others?"

(by the way, read about Spain during Muslim rule for an example of how Muslim rulers would respect Christians and Jews)

if all the major religions have a problem with one. then who must be wrong the one or all the other. its pretty hard to offend every one but Islam has found a way to do that.
they have the most intolerant religion on earth. they don't accept anyone other than themselves. they are closed minded to issues that plague the world today. they are happy to throw rocks at women and cut the heads of the infidel like they say. where is the love. Islam is the religion of warfare. through out the ages Muslims have waged war on all their neighbors. and i also find it very ironic how Mohamed was visited by a christian angel. go figure. i guess Allah ran out of messengers. also it's so funny that Mohamed is the last prophet to be sent to earth. sounds like he was trying to solidify his reign. the bottom line is that Islam is intolerant to all others. they need to learn to get along and play nice. or they'll play in a nuclear hole forever.

I have you know Muslims are not fighting Jews for the sake of religion its land territory dispute ...

All religions conflict with each other in some way or another.
The trick is to not take the teachings and scriptures too seriously. They all need to "tweaked" a little to incorporate acceptance as opposed to assimilation.

Remember, most religions are thousands of years old, and were based on what we knew then... not what we know now. Just use common sense.

What do u mean by conflict?
As per Islam, Allah says, Islam is the only selected religion by myself. We r muslims and we want people to be muslims; coz we believe it is the best way people can survive in peace.

Look, If other religions do feel those r the best they should call muslims to be in their religions, but they do not. It can be meant, either they are not confirm whether they are the best (vague religions) or they are selfish (they do like to be in their religions by themselves only)

You know, I think it's because they are actively and openly killing people that get in their way. Other religions have done the same thing, but theirs has this enduring desire to eliminate those that get in the way- violently.

I think that the War of Terrorism is good overall. Really, we have no choice. How do you ignore or try diplomacy to those that want you to convert or die?

Remember all those corny movies, where the evil mastermind wants to take over the world? Well that's happening now. The evil masterminds are Radical Islam, who truly truly want to rule the world. Someone would have to be stupid not to see that.

So yes, we are living in one of those corny movies now, and the world is in jeopardy because the evil masterminds are many, and they want their God Allah to rule the world. Allah however is incapable of doing this for them, so they are trying to do it themselves.

Could have something to do with forcing their beliefs on others and kililng those who won't convert. Christians did that in the crusades, we learned our lesson, Islam didn't, they're still in the dark ages.
