First of all you will need the definition of a ghost.

a ghost is the playback of a recording of something that happened in the past. some suggest that in certain situations, the earths structure can store these recordings and some chance situation can trigger a playback.

A ghost has no consciousness, it is just a moving picture like a TV image.

A spirit on the other hand is the consciousness of a deceased person, or maybe a consciousness that has never even incarnated on earth. It consists of pure mental energy, pure thought if you like.

Just like the people they used to be, there are good spirits and negative spirits.

No, there is more evidence for God. You need to look for it. Maybe somewhere like the Bible. But I do believe in ghosts too, just not the scary type that float around in white sheets.

God is real whether you believe in Him or not. As for the ghosts they are demons, but if you are right with God and belong to Him you don't have to worry. Jesus is the Truth. You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. Read your bible. :-) God Bless.

A very good question... one that I put to my own son recently... since I am a Christian and a Psychic Medium.

The first was choice... due to a NDE aged eight (to be the first of many NDEs) I woke from months in coma, knowing God exists, and Christ was my personal choice in the way to follow Him.

The latter, was because that same first NDE left me with many varied unusual gifts that scared me and my family for many years, as I was afforded proof positive, that ghosts exist, in fact, afforded much more proof than I needed. It took me twenty years to understand my gifts and to stop being afraid of them.

I maintain, you cannot believe in one without the other... since if you see no God, you see no afterlife. And vice versa.

I am blessed to see them both, however scary it can be at times to be a medium, I try to use it wisely without gain, on a one to one basis and across the years, it has helped many people. But I am always aware, it is not my gift, but afforded by my creator, and I am but a channel that He uses.

God does not afford 'evidence' as we would like Him to, because He wants us to call on Him in FAITH, without doubts in our mind, without question, without the need for proof.

I'm interested to read your other answers, the sensible ones at least;-)

I am one of those who do believe in God but not in ghosts as touted in movies or docu-falseries. As things are described in the Bible, I suspect that what you call ghosts are demons masquerading as our dearly departed ones in order to gain access to us. If we choose, we can claim God's protection and prevent demons from using us to do their bidding, but without God's protection we are open to demonic attack and so the demons use whatever means possible to deceive us into accepting them as helpers, angels of God, dead family and friends, etc.,

not really, to me everything around testifies of God. The universe is in a perfect order and works in harmony even when humans do there best to screw it up. The problem is most people do not really know who God is.

Because the dead sleep until judgment. "Ghosts" are simply pictures of the past, like a time relay, which explains why they can't hurt you, they aren't really there.
