Sorrow in Heaven? Absolutely not.
We can experience joy in Heaven even with the absence of sorrow there. That's because everybody in Heaven was once alive on earth, which has plenty of sorrow. So, everyone in Heaven has "been there and done that," so to speak, so we'll have something to contrast our eternal joy with.
There's nothing in Christian theology that says that people will be robbed of their memories or their pasts upon entrance into Heaven.
The joy and happiness we will feel in Heaven is well beyond anything we can imagine. Ideas of being changed into a "robot" simply don't apply.
When thinking about Heaven, try to think outside the human box. Try not to put human limits on it, which is what you're doing when you say that people in Heaven are "robots."
We have no idea what Heaven will be really like -- but it's gonna be good! Real good!

God doesn't want robots. If He did, then you and I would even be expressing our opinions freely. We would be dodging lightning bolts are something. I sincerely believe that the reason we won't have "sorrow" in Heaven is because our Spirits will live on forever, but will have new bodies and souls. Our soul is easiest defined as our mind, will, and EMOTIONS. I think we will feel that sorrow that God feels, but it will be a different sorrow, from a different place within us. I doubt this makes any sense, but hopefully it helps a little...

There will be no sorrow in heaven. You will not be a robot. You will be the perfection of all God has ever wanted for you because you will be perfect. Without sin. You will be perfect, holy, complete. You will be conscious, you will be the fulfillment and culmination of everything you were ever meant to be. We cannot imagine the beauty that awaits us.
Trust God's word, trust His son. Trust that He knows what is best. You will not "lose" anything worth keeping...only the baggage that weighs us down on this earth.

I believe that you remember your time here on earth. You do remember the sorrows. In heaven love conquers all and although you felt sorrow on earth there is no cause of sorrow in heaven. Sorrow is wiped out by understanding. I'm sure we will miss those who are not with us but we will understand why that is. Its just my take on the matter. I hope it helps.

In a fantasy-world you can make up any rules you want, so maybe there isn't any sorrow in this "heaven" you speak of. If heaven were real, I would imagine that sorrow exists. Probably due to your thoughts of friends and loved ones burning in He11 while you live in paradise.

What will be in heaven, except knowledge of truth, is not known... even to the most faithful of His people... but the one thing that will be there is undersatanding of The Truth of God's Word and Intent... With that understanding will come a contentemnt that is beyound mortal understanding... just how the memories and knowledge of the mortal existance will be delt with is not known... so if any tell you it is, then they are in ignorence of God's Word as we know it today... or they are not of The True Christian Faith.

Rob?? of memories of a life filled with sin??? Of separation from God??? Your past? was there such joy there you could not live without ALL of it without creating a new life free of all the baggage??? Robot??? I think not. WE will have joy unspeakable, full of glory! Love, pressed down shaken together and overflowing and PEACE that comes from not being stuck with our PAST MISTAKES, PAST POOR CHOICES, PAST HATREDS AND PREJUDICES! If I have to become a robot to do that all I have to say is "WARNING!!!! THIS VEHICLE WILL BE UNMANNED WHEN CHRIST RETURNS!" (Please use robot from Lost in Space episode as voice.) ;-)

To answer your question I want you to read Revelation 21: 3-4. It says "And I heard loud voice from the throne, saying, 'Behold the tabernacle of God is among men, and He shall dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be among them, and He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there shall no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passes away.'"
Why would you want to remember all the pain and suffering of this life; I'm looking forward to being in heaven without sin. We aren't going to be robots. We will be thanking Him for saving us, and how He guided us through.
We will experience total joy when we are in his presence and see Him face to face.
