Cats are actually not cute. Neither is any animal. The "cuteness" that is experienced by humans towards other creatures is a fixation with concepts that humans develop affinities towards, such as the fuzzy teddy bear. If every fuzzy teddy bear was a serial killer then no one would find them cute, except those who have an affinity to being killed. There are certain elements to this fixation such as the oversized head, beady eyes, soft fur and decadent demeanour that attract humans to cats. It is the same fixation that makes some mice cute to some people while a great many others find them disgusting because of their mental conditioning over time that mice are diseased germ carriers - not a cute subject at all.

Cats/kittens are stereotypically (and typically) very cute to human perception. Entire websites such as Kitten-Pictures.com, Kittenwar.com, The Daily Kitten and Kitten Picture are devoted to the cute look and behavior of kittens.
There are good evolutionary reasons to expect humans to find juvenile humans, and perhaps juvenile mammals in general, cute. This is related to the novelty of the exaggerated size of the head that is common to juvenile mammals and many other species. Why humans find cats in general cuter than most other furry species remains a topic of speculation. It may be the retention of some aspects of the scheme of childlike characteristics: the relative lack of a distinct snout (in favor of something approaching a snub nose) and the relatively round face and big eyes, all characteristic of human young.
An Orange Kitten.As a result of these perceptions, kittens are sometimes referred to figuratively as something pleasant to view, or as something that will induce affectionate or protective behaviour in humans.

Yup, cats and kittens are the cutest in the world. I have a gray tabby and an orange tabby and both of them are soooo00000 beautiful.

Well, they smell nice and have cute little noses. I love the sound of a content and happy purr. They are so agile and yet so playful and fun to watch. I just love em, cant you tell! lol

Because they just are, they are just the cutest things on this earth especially when they are kittens. I love their little paws when they are kittens. Cute,Cute,Cute! :)
