Where are all the smart people????

Question

I'm getting depressed by reading stuff on here. Is there anyone who can reason for themselves without sounding like someone's trained brainwashed zombie? I'm not trying to insult anyone. If you're out there and consider yourself to not fit into that description, just say "here". I will feel so much better.

OK Rewsna, First of all, I never said I was smart. Secondly, the example I gave for Ghandi actually accomplished something, and you don't know that a passive resistance to Nazism wouldn't have accomplished something...Thirdly, why are you trying so hard to prove your intelligence with ad homonym? Isn't that kind of like shooting yourself in the foot?

I know how you feel, you end up reading the same answer just rewritten 50 times with different misspellings. There are some fresh thinkers in here though... just keeping wading through and you may strike gold.

Added: Ok just checked out the question you posed called:
"Why don't people use the weapon of passive resistance...?", then you start citing Ghandi as an example. Well, let me offer up a quote from the man for you, as it regards "passive resistance".

When asked how England should handle the threat of Nazism,

And there's why your passive aggression isn't always a smart idea. What's considered smart is relative. So stop overrating yourself. Yeah and cite a specific example of my alleged ad hominem attack.

To your next comment: Oh, sure, you're right ... we should have tried out passivism during Hitler's Germany JUST IN CASE it might have worked. So when some madman comes reeling inside your house with a gun, you should also give yourself over to him, along with your hubby and kids, just in case, like, it might work.

Some people just like to splurge out nonsense.
Many are just too lazy to look up obvious things themselves on the Internet.
Also..I'm not sure how many are really true circumstances or ones they just make up.
I think the best thing is to just ignore the obvious nonsense questions, but too many answer because they want the easy points.

Also, Y Answers has a spell checker. Why don't they use it?

Here! I feel your pain! I get sick and tired of reading responses that all sound the same and all have misspelled words. Did anyone on here get an education? Does not seem like it!

But then again, read all of the responses you are getting for your question. They are all the same just like every other question on here. I guess you can not win for losing.

Hey....somebody had to say it, and I totally agree w/ you HERE! You know pple in the work force look upon how you comunicate and use dialect to consider you a good canidate for the position....no wonder the unemployment rate is sky high!!

Many of the smart people are showing up with physical and mental infirmities. They even appear to be gifted. Capable of many things us normal mortals are shortchanged in.

Researching "Indigo Children" may open up an entirely new region for you.

I have noticed that the answerers are usually more mature and reasoned than the askers. I said usually. Young people tend to conform more and be more worried about what society thinks. It's your job to educate the young people on here.

They are here. Unfortunately, their grammar is so bad that it makes them look stupid. To me, in order to sound like you are half way intelligent, you need to prove that you can put more than one thought together in a complete sentence.

Blackberry shorthand makes one seem stupid if one is attempting to communicate a formal thought.
