Can someone please help me figure out what type of dog she is. She is so great and she's about 11 years old, so I really want to get another one when she passes away :( I'm thinking she may be part terrier and pomeranian, but I'm not sure. I looked at terrier/pom mix and they don't look much like her.
Here are a few pictures of her:

She hopped into our car at the grocery store when I was in 5th grade (I just graduated college). Unforunately there's no way for us to find out what she is from her former owner.

She kinda looks like she might be a welsh corgie/dachshund mix.
Look at this site an compare the photos

She's part pomeranian for sure, but im not sure about the other half! When she does pass away (hopefully not for a very long time!) you should search www.petfinder.com for a new pet. You can put in specifications like small dog, young, pomeranian, and your area, and it comes up with literally hundreds of dogs that need a good home. They have pics of most of the dogs so you can probably find one that looks just like her (the search results also includes half breeds, anything pomerinian). By the way your dogs a cutie!

It's so hard to tell about mixed breeds. The skull does look like a terrier, and the fur does look like a Pomeranian. Whatever she is, she's adorable. Good luck with your pet search.

The best I can say is that she's just a terrier cross, with what its hard to tell there are so many different breeds of terriers that if she's the result of mixed parents she could have 4 or more breeds in her. She could be a Hienze 57.

Definitely a mix...she is obviously a little sweetie. Maybe part terrier, poodle, schnauzer, and pomeranian? Chances of finding one exactly like her are pretty steep, but do stick with the mixed-breeds; they are so much more even-tempered and so available.

She is so adorable.
I must admit that she looks like a pomeranian mix because of all the hair.
Where did you get her? Do you think you can find an answer there?

she's a mixed breed. get a dog breed book and check her body features and the description and/or picture in the book. if that doesn't help ask a groomer or a vet. we used the book with my 9 year old dog and she's a corgi mix. we could tell from her tail.

I can definitely see the pom in her. Also, looks like she may have some chihuahua. Couldn't even begin to guess what else got in there!
