In my religion i'm supposed to have an arranged marriage but luckily for me my mum says i don't have to. Arrange marriages can work out and you can grow to like/love someone, but in my opinion you need to pick your bf/husband.
It would be kinda cool if one of my mates had to choose for me though because they know my taste, and know they'll choose me a hotty! ;-)

You know that is a good question......we have the right to choose our mates for ourselves, but half the time we pick the wrong guy.....I realized that had I listened to my Mom when she said that guy is no good....or this guy is good for you....i probably would be married right now.....
The truth is Mothers and older people in general have eye for crap...they see it right away....
Even though I wrote all of that I still am too stubborn to have someone choose my mate for me

some culchures find this a good way and as long as the two people are in agreement with it well why not, some go on to have great marrages because the become friends firstif every ones ok with it why not.

Well, a good friend introduced me to my husband, but I CHOSE him to be mine.
