I just recently got the complete version of The Sims (It has all the expander packs). Anyway it was working fine for a few days, but now whenever I click to go to old downtown, etc, it starts to load, then freezes up. I end up having to restart my computer to try it all over again, but still the same results. Any suggestions??

Run adware/spyware programs to make sure you are okay that way.

Install a RAM-freeing program, such as freemem, you can find free ones at http://www.nonags.com or http://www.downloads.com.

See how much RAM you have on your computer .... 512mb is minimal to play games like that ... more, up to 1gb, is preferable.

Its also good to get and run a program like Norton System Works ... its not that expensive ... around $40 US for just systemworks. Well worth the expenditure. I havent found a free program as good.

You also might want to defrag your puter.

Hope this works for you.
