British Judo is drowning in politics. All the different areas fighting each other (and I dont mean on the mat), area's not allowing you to see their accounts, arranging their committees so that they cant get voted of. Its pathetic!!!!!!!!!! We should be more open to advance our judo on the worl stage but instead we are full of politics and old has beens with only one priorit...getting richer!

My friend just look around you there is politics every where !!!!
As a kick boxer -sport karate instructor i am not allowed to teach out of leisure centres the reason we are not recognised by the sport England who deals out all the funding and said centres are scared of losing funding.
The reason we are not accepted is simple we can not agree who is going to be top dog because to be this means lots of cash.
judo needs to be aware of our problem because if in fighting starts and gets back you will lose all your rights to.
The one thing you all need to be aware of is sport is fighting back many of us are doing it by our selves my school has just won the contract to deliver sport ma to over 160 schools in central England with more coming on board.
Judo used to be a prefferd sport on the sport England site keep falling out you are doing us a favour!!!
Grass roots instructors from any discipline will work together its the greed of the non martial artist who run the associations who will be your down fall.
You like me sound like some one who has MA in their blood we just want to pass it on and enjoy it.
My school cost me a fortune to set up No help, NO funding I didnt exist but i have over 200 people train with me. MMA has had to do it the hard way!
Judo was one of the founders of sport MA please don't let it become an out cast with all those stupid fall outs.
I have the upper most respect for Judo but as a kickboxer- mma instructor be aware when the government cuts you lose and you have to fend for yourself with no funding or help will people be prepared to pay to keep you open paying £10 plus.

They could as good inform you the one factor that you may watch is the information on television and still block the reports concerning the center East. So you think Judo has turned political..Well my friend ask some of your friends about Tae Kwon Do!
In my opinion Judo can not be as bad as things have gone in this sport/art !
But your remark has made me think,..both Judo and TKD are Olympic sports,one has to wonder if this is just chance.

i'm definitely a guy, but i'm beginning to suspect that everything men get into sooner rather than later turns to s..t. maybe a bit of soul searching is called for rather than ego enhancement.
