those people r being a lil' harsh al u have to do is if possible go get him some water and put it in ur car real quick if u can leave the meeting for a few minutes. if this has to happen agian they sell little air conditionings to hook on the the car window its solor powered so it will work and it's made just for that reason. hope i helped just think a head a lil' but at least u thought about u seem like a pretty good owner

I hate when people answer your question harshly. They could do it a BIT more respectivly, with out the name calling! You just need to make sure your dog has water before you leave for a meeting and the windows are cracked & you really should get a little air fan that sucks out the heat, really. Also you need to take a break when possible to let him/her out to cool in some shade and tinkel :)

Why, oh why are you fiddling around with the Internet
in a meeting and not rescuing your poor dog?
At least in some states, leaving your pet unattended in
a vehicle (regardless of temperature) is against the law.
If you have someone you can immediately contact to rescue
your dog for you, go ahead and do that.
Otherwise, you must do it yourself and soon.

Leaving an animal in a hot car is a misdemeanor. the typical punishment for this type of offense is a small fine and community service, and even jail time is mostly the case.

say you must go to the w.c. then get out the dog, leave it with the building's security man-make sure he has water, shade, and is tied. if the meeting is long, drive him home. it is better to come back to a sofa in pieces than a dead dog in your car and a lawsuit under you arm for stupidity.

It's ok. There are plenty of people like me who will have smashed your car windows in by now and got your dog out. I wouldn't just leave it at smashing in the windows though.

sit in the car for as long as your dog did with no air conditioning and the windows rolled up. I'm hoping your question is a joke to get people riled up cause that is messed up what you did and you know it. asshole
