Go Air Force. They treat their people better. They have the best manners. And, you don't end up as cannon-fodder while serving your country.

Having been part of both, I would say Air Force without any hesitation. The only exception would be if you are interested in combat - then the Army Infantry is where you should go.
The Air Force treats its people better. Living and working conditions are cleaner and better. Tours of duty are much more better. And people treat each other better. You can learn more skills that could be used in civilian life when you get out. There are more than just pilots and mechanics in the Air Force. Promotions came rather quickly if you do a good job. Hands down, I would recommend the US Air Force. Good luck.

I too had debated very much on a similar issue. My choice was between the Army or the Navy. It was going to take longer to get into the Navy than they Army, also the Army already had a plan for me to be trained in the state I was born, (making me close to extended family) and to serve in the state I was currently living (making me close to immediate family). So I went with the Army and I learned lots, but I frequently wondered, "What if I had gone with the one I really wanted", finally deciding that while one may seems like the best choice, the best choice is always the one you have the potential of looking back saying, "I should have went with the one I thought would make me happy". Hope this helps. It's a lesson well learned. And by no means puts down the Army. Hope you reach a happy conclusion, and I respect your decision to fight for our country!

Definetly Air Force ! I was a navy medic with the marines . Big mistake ! Air Force is all about education ! They live really good too! You live in motel style rooms , not crappy barracks like the other branches , you dont get treated like crap like the army and marines. And you make rank pretty descent in the USAF. Plus when you do go to Iraq , if u do i mean . You wont have to worry about getting blown up or shot up . USAF is more air planes obviously and intelligance . So go USAF

I am a SSgt in the AF. They are making a lot of cuts in the AF and honestly the road they are going I dont even know if they are going to let me reenlist. The AF is better when it comes to family and schooling. I am a couple credits away from my degree in CJ and never paid a dime. As far as deployments dont think the AF is easier. We are merging a lot with the Army to do convoys and they have started one 1 year deployments and pretty soon all deployments will be one year. Either service will be an adventure if you like to travel. I have been all over the US and the desert. I also just finished doing a year in Korea.

I'd say the Air Force because they have the best training than either Army, Navy, or Marine Corps

the airforce will treat you better, they are more family oriented and chances are you're less likely to get deployed. if your job does require you to deploy, the air force doesn't do 1 year deployments like the army does. at least not yet. i don't know if this part is true but i've been told the army will take anyone, where as the airforce wont.

Hey they'll both lie to you the first tour. Things begin to look like they promised with 60 days to go to the finish.
Go Army if you're for a white-collar something in civillian life. Definitely go Air Force if the civillian future looks to you like it is repairing tech gear.
If you're thinking lifer, do the Army.

You really aren't buying that nonsense are you. In case you don't know, Army types are trained as SOLDIERS FIRST... then they are trained in a particular job... but, when the need arises... they stick a weapon in your hand and put you into the trenches.
Go Air Force... they don't sleep in fox holes.
